Black Bean Brownies

Black Bean Brownies

  • Unsweetened cocoa
  • Raw coconut oil
  • Can of black beans
  • Vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • Semi-sweet dark chocolate chips
  • Either maple syrup, rice brown syrup, honey, or agave nectar

  1. In a blender, pour in the entire can of black beans, ½ cup of cocoa powder, ¼ cup of coconut oil, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, 3 eggs, ⅓ cup of honey and ½ cup of chocolate chips
  2. Blend together until creamy
  3. In a glass pan (spray pam) and then evenly spread out the brownie mixture
  4. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes (preheated to 350 degrees)
  5. Pull the pan out of the oven once cooked (I use the toothpick method to make sure no brownie is on the toothpick before I take them out of the oven)
  6. Wait 10 minutes for them to cool before you cut them =)

Here is a video tutorial of this recipe as well =) Enjoy!
